Job Title: IT Supervisor

Location: On-site, United States

Job Type: Full-time, direct hire

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 annually depending on experience

About the Role:

A healthcare-focused services organization is seeking an experienced IT Supervisor to oversee daily IT operations, infrastructure support, and enterprise technology service delivery. This position combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities to support a secure, reliable, and compliant technology environment.

The IT Supervisor will lead internal support operations, maintain infrastructure and cloud platforms, coordinate with vendors, and assist with regulatory compliance initiatives related to data security and protected information environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise IT support staff including workload management, mentoring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee day-to-day help desk and technical support operations to ensure timely resolution of issues and operational continuity
  • Support planning, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, remote access, and cloud-based systems
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, and related security controls
  • Manage endpoint administration platforms such as Microsoft Intune for device management, software deployment, patching, and security enforcement
  • Maintain and support operational software applications used throughout the organization
  • Coordinate secure connectivity and access to externally hosted systems and client resources
  • Support data governance, information protection, and enterprise security initiatives
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of safeguards supporting HIPAA and PCI DSS compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors regarding hardware procurement, software licensing, and support services
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives while minimizing operational disruption
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts, including backup validation and recovery testing
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting processes
  • Ensure technology operations comply with organizational policies and applicable regulatory standards

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive IT experience in enterprise environments
  • Prior supervisory, lead, or team management experience required
  • Experience supporting infrastructure environments including servers, networking, storage, and cloud technologies
  • Experience coordinating IT projects and working with third-party vendors
  • Experience within healthcare, regulated, or compliance-driven environments preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong administration experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and cloud collaboration platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management solutions
  • Understanding of data governance, information protection, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI DSS, and regulated IT compliance environments
  • Knowledge of infrastructure support including networking, systems administration, backup, and disaster recovery processes

Certifications

  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified, Azure Administrator, or related credentials preferred
  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar certifications are a plus

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
